Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Every new account starts with a free 14-day trial of the plan you pick — no card, no strings. After the trial you land on the free-forever plan and only pay if you choose to upgrade. (Scale is billed today — no trial.)
I’m on Fresha / Vagaro / Square / paper. How painful is switching?
One evening, usually less. If you can export a CSV, we can import your clients, services, and staff. Your old system keeps working until you flip the switch.
Do you take a commission on my bookings or payments?
Never. You keep 100% of every appointment. Card payments carry only the standard processor rate — we add nothing on top, and we never charge per booking.
What do SMS reminders actually cost?
Email reminders are included on paid plans. SMS is a $15/mo add-on with 200 texts included, then $0.10 per message — pricing is on the pricing page, not hidden in checkout.
What happens to my data if I leave?
